Who can Join?

Anyone between the ages of 15½ and 20 can be a Venture Scout.

Venture Scouting is intended primarily to build on skills and values of the scout section, but that is not to say that someone who has not been a scout cannot do as well in Venture Scouting.

What do Venture Scouts Do?

Venture Scouting is intended to challenge you and help you to develop physically, mentally, and spiritually.

This is achieved by using a varied programme, planned by the Unit Executive and carried out by the unit as a whole.

The programme is directed by two Awards that form the final parts of the Scout Association's progressive training scheme, The Venture Scout Award and the Queens Scout Award.
